The Full Story

Paddock to Plate

Consumers increasingly want to know the full story of their food, from its origins to their plates. The term ‘paddock-to-plate’ signifies demand for transparency. At Lone Pine Farm, we proudly uphold this journey, ensuring sustainable and ethical practices at every step. Our commitment guarantees our produce meets the high standards expected by today's conscious consumers.

Journey

Its as simple as 1, 2, 3

Young Life

We buy our young Wagyu from the best breeders in Australia which happen to be just down the road at our friends farm. We only buy pure bred Wagyu with proven genetics. When old enough they are carefully transported to us in small groups.

Resort Style Living on the Farm

Once on our farm the cattle are free to graze on the lush pastures beside our flowing creeks and rivers. Each evening they are checked, given a cuddle (or a scratch) and a small feed (to ensure they come when called)

Processing

In the final month before processing we use a local grain finisher to ensure a nice marble. Once ready we send our Wagyu to a local and ethical processor. The meat is then dressed and cryovacced into quarters ready for you to take home!
